Pre International GCSE

For kids aged 7-9, we call their class “SKILLS” because they need to develop the skills of reading, writing and arithmetic as the basis for their learning. Classes for kids aged 10-12 is called “Concrete” because we make difficult concepts easy by presenting them in a concrete way. We always start with the end in mind and make sure the brain paths are formed when they are still young so that the work to come is easier. We advise this program be done onsite as far as possible and online only if the mother or father can be very involved.

International GCSE

In most Cambridge schools this is a two year course at ages 15 and 16 but we start with this work for kids as young as 12 and call it Priming. After Priming they do year IG1 and IG 2 until they are ready for the Exam Prep year. The ages of kids doing Exam Prep can be 14 – 16.

AS and A-Level

AS is more or less the South African alternative to matric. It is a much better preparation for University and life than a caps matric due to the amount of deep level thinking required by the course. South African universities accept AS and International universities typically requires three subjects on A-Level.
